2. Cappello Lounge

Looking for places to eat in Newcastle-under-Lyme? Cappello Lounge is a wonderful restaurant in the town centre. 

If you and your besties are heading out for lunch, they offer a banging deal from 12pm until 5pm Monday to Friday where you can get a mug of soup and a half a panini for £5.95. 

They are also vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free friendly, just ask for a menu to suit your dietary requirements and you can choose from tons of tasty options.

6. Bloom Bar

Bloom Bar opened in 2019 in Hanley before expanding in 2021 to Ironmarket in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Serving fantastic cocktails and delicious food in floral and tropical surroundings, Bloom Bar is the place to be. 

Offering bottomless brunch on Fridays to Sundays 12pm-5pm. This gets you 90 mins of unlimited Prosecco and a small place for just £25pp or upgrade to unlimited Classic cocktails for £30pp.

They also offer traditional afternoon tea, which includes a selection of finger sandwiches and mini desserts.

7. Regent Chinese Restaurant

Craving Chinese food? Regent Chinese Restaurant is where you need to try.

Located on Ash Way, this family-run restaurant has been serving Cantonese cuisine to the people of Newcastle-under-Lyme for over 35 years. 

No matter if you’re sitting in with friends for a bite to eat or ordering straight to your student home, you won’t be disappointed. 

You can order a set menu starting from £10 per head which includes a delicious starter, appetisers and a main course. 

Or, go for a mouth-watering dish like King Prawn Chow Mein, the choice is yours!

Playhouse is a lively bar and restaurant situated on Hassell Street, who serve up killer pizzas. 

They prepare their New York style dough daily with only 5 ingredients, flour, water, salt, yeast and extra virgin olive oil, and then double ferment it for 24 hours making it soft and light. 

You can order by the slice or order a metre long pizza for you and your pals to enjoy a feast – it would be rude not to, eh? 

We have to recommend trying the ‘Top of the Poppers’ pizza with Jalapeño Poppers, Peppers, Oregano and Basil. 

For a slice it’s just £4.25 or for a metre to split with your mates it’s £28.50.
