Iced coffee is the ultimate summer drink, there’s just something about a nice cold, caffeine-filled drink that really gets us excited.

Although, visiting a coffee shop every day can be pricey, and we know you’ll want to stretch your student budget further! 

That’s why we’ve put together this post with iced coffee recipes to get you through the summer months, whether you prefer a sweet sugary cuppa or a classic brew, we’re sure they’ll be something on this guide to take a liking to.

1. Classic Iced Coffee 

We’re keeping it classic with this first iced coffee recipe from TikTok for all you plain Janes out there. 

Firstly, you need to get your iced cubes, you can use crushed ice, medium-sized ice cubes or large blocks of ice, then place these into a glass. 

Next you need to put 2 tsp instant coffee in a mug and pour in some boiled hot water.

Now, pour your hot coffee over the iced cubes and use any dairy or non-dairy milk of your choice. 

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, put in a tsp of any kind of sugar and there you have it. 

You’ll be sippin’ on this one all day long!

2. Love Island Iced Coffee 

The infamous Love Island Iced Coffee is our go-to drink for summer, and considering the show is back on our screens soon, what better way to get the excitement flowing? 

To make it, you’ll need to get your fave glass and fill it with party ice, then drizzle on some honey. 

Next, you need to mix some black coffee in a jug with boiling water and pour it over your ice and honey, half full. 

Now, pour over your milk of choice and add in some vanilla extract, give it a little mix with your straw and voila!

3. Mint Mojito Iced Coffee 

This sweet and creamy Mint Mojito Iced Coffee is a non-alcoholic brew that combines fresh mint, cream, and cold brew coffee.

If you want to make it yourself, firstly you need to brew up some coffee and get some fresh mint leaves to place within a cocktail shaker, or mason jar. 

You now need to muddle together the mint to release all of the tasty oils, then you need to pour 0.25 oz of simple syrup into your shaker too. 

Now pour in your black coffee and ½ oz of milk or cream, depending on how you like it. 

Next pour in as many ice cubes as your heart desires, and shake your cocktail shaker (just remember to put the lid on first). 

Once you’ve given it a good shake, get a glass filled with ice and pour over your mint mojito coffee. 

Serve with a mint to garnish and stir to enjoy!

4. Iced Chocolate Honey Mocha 

Start your day off the right way with this delicious Iced Chocolate Honey Mocha recipe. 

To make it, gather an espresso shot in a glass and 1 tbsp of honey and blend together using a coffee mixer. 

If you don’t have one of these, you can still make the recipe, it’s just much nicer whipped up! 

Now, add in 1 tbsp of chocolate syrup, ice cubes and ¾ cup of the milk of your choice.

Did someone say Starbucks at home? They sure did, to make this super easy recipe you need to whisk heavy cream and vanilla syrup together. 

Now, pour white chocolate sauce, espresso, and milk into a cocktail shaker and shake.

To finish off, pour your drink into a cup with ice and top with whipped cream. 

You could make this iced coffee recipe the night before so it’s ready for the day ahead, just grab and go!

The method is simple: drizzle some caramel sauce on your glass of choice, then fill your entire glass with ice cubes, if you want it to be super sweet you can add in some caramel syrup too. 

Next it’s time to add in your milk of choice, filling it about ¾ to the top, then add in 2 espresso shots. 

The finishing touch is another drizzle of your caramel sauce, you can even add some whipped cream to the top if you fancy it. 

You’ve got a serious pick-me-up with this coffee, so make sure to give it a try for yourself on a hot summer’s day! 

Iced Caramel Macchiato

7. Vanilla Cinnamon Iced Coffee

Add 1 1/2 cup milk into your coffee mug, then add 2 tbsp sugar, 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and stir well. 

Next, heat the milk in the microwave for around 30 seconds in your coffee mug.

Now pour 1/2 cup espresso into your warm milk into the mug and let it cool for a few minutes, then pour your coffee over ice cubes in a glass. 

If you prefer, you can blend all your ingredients until smooth.

To make your iced coffee at home, you need to prepare your coffee cubes by dissolving coffee granules in boiling water and pouring them into an ice cube tray. 

After freezing for around 4 hours, you should add your ice cubes to a glass and stir in your coconut milk well. 

The best part about this recipe is that using coconut milk as the base makes it plant-based, so it’s vegan and healthy!
